Isca is the name of a small rock that was known to be a siren in ancient times. Its name resembles that of the major island of Ischia. From the distant the rock looks like a whale back and it is located midway from Crapolla and Recomone, towards Nerano.
On both east and west sides of the rock ruins of Roman buildings, vases have been found and there are even stairs cut in the stone to get to sea, one of which is called the Chapel of S. Antonio, even if no religious reason lays underneath. A well known inhabitant of the island was the playwright Eduardo De Filippo.
